When you arrive at the hospital to deliver your baby, you don’t want to deal with lots of paperwork. The pre-admission program gives you an opportunity to be completely prepared for your baby's birthday. You'll have a private, one-on-one meeting with nurse educator before your delivery date to complete the hospital admission paperwork in a private, relaxed setting.  You will also have an opportunity to learn about breastfeeding and important legal issues.  Bring your infant car seat along and have it fitted to your car. It is a great opportunity to ask last minute questions and obtain information about community resources for parents and children.  It is recommended that patients be 32 – 36 weeks gestation.
